Ms. Ilse

Ms. Ilse is the Program Director. Her accent is often asked about, because she is a German speaking, South African, American who has degrees in Early Childhood Education and Accounting. She grew up on a farm, loves to hike, ski, travel and play chess. She won the 2016 Utah Early Childhood Teacher of the Year and in 2017 won the TLLCCF National Teacher award. She is a mom with two busy boys, and also directs the winter childcare programs at Alta and Snowbird. She is a certified Safety Care Specialist and will be working at Alta Summer Camp part-time this year!
