Annika

Annika is excited to return for her second year at the Alta Summer Camp. Originally from Oklahoma, she moved to Utah to work as a lifty at Snowbird and explore the state’s various natural playgrounds. She has spent half of her lifetime working with and learning from children and adolescents, influencing her to study Cognitive Science and Education in college. Her experiences, education, and innate curiosity in human nature fuel her passion to contribute to youth development and wellbeing, especially connecting youth with nature. When she’s not wearing her camp counselor hat, Annika enjoys hiking, backpacking, playing board games, people-watching at the park, and spending time with her friends.
