Isabel

Isabel (affectionately known as “Isabawk”) has been part of Alta Summer Camp since 2021 and currently serves as our Activity Director. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Through both her education and hands-on experience, Isabel has developed a strong passion for connecting people with nature as a way to support mental well-being, confidence, and personal growth.

She is a member of the American Camp Association and also serves as an ACA accreditation visitor, supporting camps nationwide in meeting and maintaining the highest standards of quality and care.

Isabawk began her journey at Alta Summer Camp as a group counselor when the program served just 20 campers. As the camp has grown, so has she—earning her way into a leadership role through dedication, consistency, and a deep commitment to the children and the program as a whole. She approaches every aspect of camp with care, from big-picture planning to the smallest details, and her genuine love for the children is felt by campers, families, and staff alike. Her presence has meaningfully elevated the Alta Summer Camp experience for everyone involved.
