Camp Director
Michael is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, with a passion for introducing people of all ages to the beauty of wild places. He lives in Salt Lake City with his family and is excited to spend his summer up in the mountains at Alta; exploring all of wonders tucked away in the beautiful gardens of the Wasatch. Mike has a bachelors degree in Adventure and Outdoor Programs from the University of Utah. He has worked in a nature setting with children since he was 14 years old, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, skiing and playing all along. In the winter, Mike works at the Alf Engen Ski School located at Alta Ski Area. Needless to say, Mike is thrilled to be a part of your child's adventures this summer!!
